Our buses with professional drivers are available to pick up and drop off your child from/to Big Ben and your home, anywhere in the Emirate of Sharjah.
We follow a British curriculum at Big Ben, preparing young minds for their future "big learning" when they one day take their GCSE's and A-Level examinations. We also have activities that are unparalleled anywhere else, making sure that the children learn through play and repetition, and we go to great lengths to make sure its as fun and educational for the children as possible.
There is always a certified, qualified nurse at our on-site clinic to provide medical care for children in case of an emergency. There is also a Doctor that visits the nursery once a week to write weekly reports about the children's health in their medical file.

At Big Ben, alongside our classrooms which are divided into the categories "Upper", "Lower" and "Nursery", based on the childrens' age and ability. We keep our classroom sizes relatively small, on purpose, to ensure that each child's unique needs are catered to individually. Each classroom consists of a teacher and a teaching assistant.
Big Ben offers a transportation service with several buses in its fleet, that are specially-equipped for children, each driver has a minimum of 10 years' experience and a perfect safety-record, as well as a member of our staff who is always on the bus to ensure the children are always safe getting on and off of the bus.
We've received numerous awards over our many years educating young minds, including awards from the Government of Sharjah, the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Social Affairs, and others. We carry these awards proudly and, even more proudly, our responsibility towards the importance of our job.
The activities at Big Ben are unparalleled anywhere else in the UAE. While still following a British curriculum, we've custom designed our teaching programme in order to teach children all of the necessary skills they need for "big school", through fun and play.
Our headmistress, who holds a Master's degree in Child Psychology, and has over 30 years experience, and with the help of all of the staff at Big Ben, have put together a customized curriculum tailored specifically to the needs of the children at Big Ben.
Society's view of children has always been that of a small creature, who plays and enjoys, blissfully unaware of their surroundings, unconcerned by the nature of things. In truth, children are equally affected by and affect the world around them.
Actions which we, as adults, might deem insignificant may in fact, become unerasably etched into our children. One cannot expect for example, a brave leader to emerge out of a child in whom, the seeds of fear were planted in their very first years of life.
Therefore, I believe that the nursery years are perhaps more vitally important to the development of the individual than their teenage years. Some may find skepticism in this, as it may appear that education on the simplest parts of our complex existence, like colours, numbers and shapes, is something that lacks importance. However, this is secondary to the real objective of the nursery stage - that is to build character, which is certainly the much more difficult, and valuable, part of our job as educators and as parents.
